The first 2026 event for Goole's Bicentenary was the unveiling online of a Blue Plaque, to the Aire and Calder Navigation Company at 12:01 on Thursday 1st January by Goole Civic Society. It is situated on the ERYC building, formerly the port office, in Stanhope Street.
